Bambi Sweater

Butter yellow oversized nautical scene sweater. Thick navy blue swiss darning stockinette stiches on collar, hemline, and sleeve hem as well. This technique has to be done by hand as a loose stitch adding more character to the peice.  

Story: 

From the Sag Harbor brand founded in 1975. Their Sag Harbor knits were especially popular in the 90s and early 2000s. Sag Harbor is a local town in Long Island, New York, the brand likely started there. The orginal brand before it was expanded into Sag Harbor was called Parsons Place Apparel in the 60s.
